Ilya has been in the Canadian diamond industry for over 25 years. He is the CEO of MDL, diamond merchants based in Toronto. Ilya holds an Economics degree from University of Toronto and currently serves as a treasurer on the GIA alumni Ontario chapter; he is also an adviser to the Diamond Bourse of Canada.
