Topic: Processing Gemstones in Madagascar and Nigeria
Soosai will be talking about how Gemstones are mined and faceted in Madagascar and Nigeria. Soosai is a American Gem Trade Association award winning Lapidary, Gemmologist, Master Valuer and Jeweller. He has his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Madras, India. Soosai has been in the jewellery industry in India, Dubai and Canada for the past 35 years and is now the Proprietor of Prosper Designs. Soosai has also trained people in Madagascar and Nigeria on World Bank and assisted on projects to set up lapidary schools.
